Your #StretchYourLimits moment: interview Alexis Hanquinquant

Can you tell us more about yourself?

My name is Alexis, I am 33 years old and married with two kids. I have always been an athlete and I truly love all sports! When I was 24, I had a very bad accident at my work, and I had to have a part of my right leg removed… But today I am still an athlete as a member of the French Paratriathlon team, two times France, Europe, and World champion! Now I have one goal, Tokyo 2020!

When did you start to run?

I started triathlon in 2015, but I only started the competitions in 2016, so not a long time ago. Before that, I was into basketball and I also was France Champion of Full-contact, similar to kick-boxing… these sports are totally different from each other!

What was your biggest #StretchYourLimits moment?

I stretch my limits everyday because I only have one goal in my head now, becoming an Olympic Champion!

What is your next big challenge?

I want to keep all my current titles (France, Europe, and World champion) as long as possible because it is important to me, and be part of the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 2020. I really want that gold medal… it really is my dream!

How important is the choice of your shoes/equipment?

In high performance sports it’s the details that matter, and especially in triathlon, equipment is primary! That is why I am proud to be equipped with Pebax Powered® gear!
