Get to know the NY Magic - "The United Nations of women's soccer" in the Big Apple!

With Arkema as a proud national sponsor of the FIFA Women World Cup 2019 in France, the Pebax Powered® team wanted to support and empower a local women's soccer team with this new partnership with the NY Magic

Who is the New York Magic?

The New York Magic Club’s Reserve team began competing locally in the New York Metropolitan Women’s Soccer League (NYMWSL) in 1984. In 1998, the Magic joined and began competing in the United Soccer League (USL) - W-League -and the UPSL (United Premier Soccer League) the regional and national footprint for women’s soccer in the US (summer competition).

The Magic Reserve team currently competes in the A Division of the NYMWSL and the Magic W-League team competes in the North East Division of the W-League and the UPSL.

Last year, they won the 2018 NYMWSL and the 2018 Eastern New York State Cup. The goal is to repeat as League and State Cup Champions in 2019 and to become the 2019 Champions of the newly established League Cup.

The "United Nations of Soccer"
