Destination Mount Elbrus (elevation 5,642m) by bike from Lyon (4,000 kilometers)
After completing a tour of France by bike in 40 days, James Bansac, a 26-year-old cyclist from Lyon decided to push his passion for sport, adventure and the mountains to the max. His goal was to cycle from Lyon to the Caucasus, a 4,000-kilometer ride, and then climb Mount Elbrus (on foot), the highest peak in Europe, at 5,642 meters. James has just completed his odyssey in 72 days. Hats off, we say!
